POLL:Average Number of Trades per Day and Time Spent Trading?

Just curious;

[B]What is the average number of trades [/B](i guess one complete buy/sell is a “trade”) [B]you do per day as a day-trader?[/B]

Also [B]how many hours a day do you typically invest in active trading in front of the monitor[/B]?

I’m a student at University so unfortunately do not get to spend as much time in front of the charts as I would like. My days off I find myself for hours analyzing the charts and testing things out.

Due to a longer terms trading strategy, I don’t place too many trades. I try to play it safe but am still working on trading a system with better WL ratios.

Anyone sit in front of a pair and buy/sell its highs and lows up and down for the session?

3-5 trades per day. Average 1 hour in front of computer per day.
