I’ve been demoing for a while entering a trade here and a trade there, mainly losing 
so i thought it’s high time i make myself a trading log so i can learn something from my mistakes.
What do you think is the most efficient method for you to record your trades and learn from them?
Do you record your trades using an excel spreadsheet if so what kind of data fields?
Do you save a chart of each trade with notes on them?
Any templates or examples will be welcome

Since I use MT4, I don’t use excel for just the stats (MT4 has a built in function to do that for me :p).
I do however keep a paper journal of each trade taken, basic stats like entry price, profits/loss, why I took the trade, how it ended, analysis. Then on a weekly basis I look at the overall profit. What could I have done to eradicate the losers or lessen them?
I’ve been doing this for a month and it’s helped me refine a strategy I’m testing and also find identify some issues I kept having. I find it easier on paper than digital form.
