I am new to Forex trading and wanted to try out the Cowabunga system described on this site (very good site by the way, I have been reading it for over a week).
I am trying to setup my Stochastic indicators and am having trouble interpreting what 10,3,3 means.
I am using Barlcays BarxFX platform and the parameters for Stochastics are as follows:-
Bottom Line Level (obvious this one).
Period of Inidicator (I am assuming this is the 10 in the 10,3,3)
Smoothing
Up line level (again this is an obvious one).
Window number (this is just what window I want the indicator displayed in).
I then have another option called Appearance settings which allow me to enter the line colour width etc and change visibility for a number of lines I want displayed.
Apart from the format of the line, they have options for:-
Time shift 0
Y factor 0
To use the 10,3,3 setting described in the Cowabunga setup, does anyone have any ideas which of the values I should be using for what parameters?
