Closing your trade during weekends

I have a demo oanada account. And i could closed
my trade during the weekends. However, my other mt4 brokers which is whc doesn not allow me to modified any trade till the market open.

As both are demo accounts. One can and one cannot. So is it depends on the brokers selection?

Pretty much, as far as I know it also depends on the setup of the broker; marketmakers and straight-through-processing (marketmaking/ecn) brokers may or may not let you enter/close a trade during the weekend but a pure ecn broker wouldn’t since the market isn’t open in the first place

Isn’t Oanda open through the weekend, though? Or am I wrong?
