Can someone tell me if it is possible to scroll a chart up and down in Metatrader 4, I can’t find a way of doing this. It moves left to right but not up and down. Please help thanks
No the chart will not move up and down however you can make the bars in the chart a little more ‘squished’ or ‘elongated’ vertically by placing your cursor on the right hand side of the chart (along the price values) and click and drag your mouse up and down. See if that’s what you’re looking to do.
If not, scrolling vertically is not an option in MT4
You can scroll charts up and down in MT4.
Right click on the chart choose properties, click the common tab and then check the scale fix 1 to 1 box.
This will stop the scale from auto adjusting to the amount of price movement in the chart, and will add a scroll bar to the right side of the chart to manually scroll it up and down.

Glad to be of help, that option is not an obvious one I was using MT4 for several months before I realized you could do that.
