Whenever I look at the profit percentage column in an active trade, it just seems wrong.
What is wrong with this equation?
Profit (USD) for trade / Balance * 100% = Profit (%) for trade
If nothing appears wrong, then my profit (%) does not seem to read correctly. Does anybody else have this problem?
I use Oanda but hadn’t really noticed. so I just took a look at this page which shows some sample numbers

if you divide the unrealized pl by the balance it matches the unrealized pl% pretty close.
398.99/10200.41 = .0391
oh I just realized you said percent column in an active trade. I was looking at the wrong thing. Never mind.
