I’m brand new to forex. I’m going to finish the pips school that we have on this site. What, in your opinion would be a good demo platform to practice on? Also, should I get a demo platform now or should I wait until I graduate from the school of pips?

I would go ahead and get a demo account. As your learning things like moving averages and fib levels you can try them out on the platform. Thats how I learned but everybodys different.

Well, definitely start with an mt4 demo. So yeah, brokers such as alpari, fxopen, ibfx are all good.
I prefer IBFX for my MT4 platform as it seems they have the best spreads. However, if you are doing discretionary trading without the need for Metatrader I have to say Oanda has some of the lowest spreads I have seen.
