Unless I am missing something, on my trading platform … I can only look back so far {around 1 day or so} with the 1m chart, and same for the other charts.
Is there any good source that allows you to look at the history of a currency pair on any time chart?
Like If I wanted to look at the 1m charts on USD/JPY from Sept.
Get a demo account for an MT4 platform. I use alpari’s but there are plenty of brokers that have them. Oanda only lets me check back a short distance as well so I chart on an MT4 platform. Its more versatile and you can go months, if not years (haven’t tried it :D) on the 1 min chart.
Edit* There are several sites, including dailyfx that have free charts. I don’t believe you can go back very far though.
I wanted to do some extensive backtesting a little while back and I found Alpari has one hell of a database, although it was down, and it still may be.
