MetaTrader4 question

Ok so another new guy question.

I just downloaded MetaTrader4 from:

If I go to file>open an account is that a demo account?
If not - how do I point it to a company I have a demo account with?
All I see in the options in the “Login” screen is “AlpariUS-Demo”

Ok so I figured out the first part.
Open account = demo.
(they should call that our more)

I suppose I can cross the “get it hooked up to a real account” later.
