Is it me or are the markets moving like crazy today or what??? Its like all of New York stayed home and because of the thin liquidity the markets are flying north with no retracements or anything? It is so unexpected. The pound and euro are climbing like there’s no tomorrow. I don’t see any real news listed so I have to assume the thin markets are just doing what they want today. I know I didn’t go to work today I’m buried under 3 feet of snow.
I was trading the Euro this morning and it was crazier than usual, very spiky and unpredictable. On Oanda the spread was normal at 0.9 but jumped to 1.5 after the first giant candle (down) struck. Since then it has been crazy like low-liquidity times.
News day tomorrow and friday… Some pre-posturing I might think…
