I’m trying to download forex historical data (1 hr) so i can analyze offline and so far can only find one site that offers this for free but going back 4 months. Does anyone know where this is available going back say one year, down to 1 hour level?

I’m assuming that you would have tried this, but have you tried your charting package? I am with eSignal, and there are price charts going back over ten years on there, so worth a look.
Use MT4 strategy tester, run it in visual mode if you want to see the chart.
I have tried charting packages, but none that I know of allow you to export data out.
I already do this in MT4 but the raw historical data cannot be exported out of MT4
File | Save As ! believe it or not, but not sure how far back it will go, it may depend on how much of the chart you’ve viewed, I’m sure with a bit of fiddling you can get what you want.
I can print from eSignal, can’t speak for other packages as have not used them.
Ah yes, I think the File Save as might only save open/close/high/low, however you could write an EA to run on the strategy tester that will write the data to a file!!
