Is there a pair which has high volatility and a relative low spread after 18:00 GMT? (and still has USD or EUR in it)
Cause my ATR indicator (been testing on eurusd) always goes down after i had my dinner and the market seem to be ranging, that makes trading a bit boring (m5).

Found one: usd/cad, which seem to be quite active at present time.
I trade the Asian session from time to time. Generally when one pair is moving, they all move. But of course there are days when nothing moves or there might be a burst of activity for an hour or so. Try the Aussie and the EURJPY for a little more volatility.
The great thing about the Asian session is that everything happens in slow motion, so you have lots of time to examine the chart and react. Plus the patterns seem to be more predictable once you know what to look for.
That would be caused by the Oil prices moving in the Asian markets.
Most new traders are attracted to volatility but volatility doesn’t always give you money, it can also work against you (yikes!) Using a strategy that has low risk and a high reward like harmonics might be something worth investigating.
