Channel lines and wedges

I should have noticed this before because it is simple, really. I asked a question earlier in the year about the slope of channel lines and how speed has anything to do with these channel lines. Maybe I didn’t ask correctly, but it isn’t that important because most new traders probably already know it. For example sake, a wedge which has a slope on support and resistance, a slope line that is. Either one, resistance or support, has a channel line. So the steeper slope indicates the speed of the formation of the highs and lows. If it is support with the steeper slope, then lows are forming faster, if it is resistance with the steeper slope then you have highs forming faster. I guess you can use the same logic on either an up trending wedge or down trending wedge. If I am not correct then please correct me. Tank You Very Much!
