    Do you mean why do regular people (without other investments) trade forex?

    If so, I would say because you can start with a very small amount of capital and potentially build it up over the years. Alot of people see fx as a 'get rich quick scheme' though. I would venture a guess and say that's why a large percentage of people experiment with fx.

    I agree. One has to trade will real money as soon as possible after you practiced your strategy on a demo. Start with a small amount and step it up as you gain confidence.
