I can’t get MT4 DDE to work with my Excel 2003, it crashes, i heard that trade interceptor can also stream live quotes to Excel, how to get it work? appreciate any help
You can export all the trades you made since the time you have registered the account inside Trade Interceptor by going to the Top Menu Bar > Trade > Trading Intelligence > Export to Clipboard. Then you may paste the data in an Excel spreadsheet.
i mean the live trading quotes of currency pairs, ask/bid price, not the report
I’ve never tried it with MT4. Sounds crazy but I just use MSN currency rate and plug that through my Excel 2010 workbook connection. Then I plot and plot…and plot some more. I actually do my own Ichimoku and create my own clouds…I won’t bore you with details. But back to your question, you may need to upgrade Excel. Are you getting any information before your Excel crashes? And for what purpose do you need need to stream live quotes to Excel?
MT4 DDE have no OHLC data for the interval. not what i need
I can just use the Export Historical data for now, just a few seconds delay to my worksheet, good enough
