Uptrend violation

Hi,

We know uptrend means higher high , higher lows in a price chart.

If price starts falling , I am in a confusion which one of the below you would call uptrend violation ?

price crossing A OR price crossing B ?

B, the most recent minor low before the highest high.

I agree, it is B but I would not base a trade on a single signal from my chart. Try to get it confirmed by other aspects.

Another B here. Although I would like to see the next high form lower and then you get a classic head and shoulder pattern

B as well.

If the up trend is violated & going south then you’re looking for lower highs & lower lows as confirmation; to post a lower low, B would need to be broken.
