Hi, Does anyone know how to calculate this rate, say its 0.66 gbp to 1 usd what is the formula to convert pounds into dollars? I have to do this for alparis administrators, Thanks.
Normally I would use the gbp/usd rate so say 1.51, so the formula for that is account amount x 1.51 = for USD/GBP say 0.66 it is account amount divided by 0.66 = . Sometimes its the simplest things we need help with ha, I hear thats a sign of genius 
if
0.66GBP = 1USD
then
10 GBP =>
(10/0.66) x 1USD = 15.15USD
or
xGBP =>
(x/0.66) x 1USD = yUSD
Been a long time since Algebra entered my brain :). But going GBP to dollars, you take the first one times the second. To go back the other way, take the second divided by the first. So 1/.66=1.515. Easily, first way, 1 times 2. Second 2 divided by 1.
Look at all the math coming handy now :).
