I am currently starting out and am trying to use MT4 on my iPad with a demo account. Several times now Ive gone in and set up all my charts, put all my indicators on, s/r lines and changed all my preferences etc, and each time I come out of MT4 and go back in all my charts are restored to the default ones. Is there no way to save the charts, I don’t really want to have to go through this whole process each time I log back in, why doesn’t it remember this info ?

It should save them by default. Maybe a clean install will solve the problem.
Is seems to work sporadically, saves it sometimes and then I’ll close it down later and they are all gone 
Will try a reinstall and see if that makes a difference 
Which broker are you with?
FXPRO, seems to have saved them overnight after a reinstall so hopefully they won’t disappear again. As a side note does anyone know if there is a way to change the time on MT4 to reflect my time zone, only slightly annoying that it’s slightly off, but would still like to change it if I can ?

It is a rule that broker gives its own time. So you cant chanhe it
