EMA's on my chart were giving same signals back in 2008 too? Or is this wrong?

Hi all

This question may have been asked by me before so i’m sorry if it is a repeat. But I Use multiple systems one that I use, uses the 1 and 4 lwma on a MACD chart using first indicators data, Now the signals I got from it now are working great, but when I go on my chart and scroll back to say 2008 the signals are the same, they say that if I took the trade when I got the signal I would’ve been doing good. Is that true or is for some reason the data now screwing with the past data to make me think it was working before?

Maybe read up on how to erase the candle-data currently in the terminal and let it “reset” itself. I had to do something similar the other day as my chart had no data…it had data in all the timeframes, except D1 thet I needed.
I would say if it still shows then, it is true…
