I ve read few articles on NY charts for Price action trading

If i use a broker that use NY charts, all my pairs/index/commodities will start at 5pm (ny time) and close at 4.59pm (ny time)?

atm i use Interactive broker and they dont use NY close charts, however they only have 5 candles per week which i confusing

ex: the NZD pairs, like GBP.NZD close at 4pm(NY time) every day so i only get 5 candles/week but they obvioulsy r not the same as yours

same for Gold/silver the candles close at 6pm (NY time) every day so i only get 5 candles/week but they obvioulsy r not the same as yours

In my opinion, when you create your trading strategy all of this is accounted for. In addition, some brokers allow you to set your time-zone so you can adjust the close to your liking.

unfortunately not all of them but i think having a broker that has all its chart on NYclose would make my live much easier
