Can you please explain this concept from forex?

So let’s imagine EUR/GBP price is 0.9002/0.9005, how would that work in real life?
Would I:
[ul]
[li]Buy EUR for 0.9002 and sell EUR for 0.9005
[/li][li]Buy GBP for 0.9002 and sell GBP for 0.9005
[/li][/ul]

I’m still reading the tutorial and didn’t quite understood how it would work in this case.

In real life, if you were doing an actual exchange, you would receive 0.9002 GBP for each EUR (selling EUR). Alternatively, it would take 0.9005 GBP to get you 1 EUR (buying EUR).
