I am currently develping my own trend following system, and I will be focusing only on 6-8 pairs. Can you help me elaborate the list with the paris that have good trends? So far Ive ccame with this:
Eurusd / gbpusd
aususd
usdcad
gbpjpy
usdjpy
what 2 or 3 more pairs would you add?

You have already highlighted many of the major currency pairs that tend to trend. In addition, it’s worth noting that several JPY pairs like AUD/JPY and NZD/JPY often trend.
If you are open to venturing beyond the most popular pairs, then strong trends can be found in pairs like EUR/AUD, EUR/NZD, EUR/CAD, GBP/AUD, GBP/NZD and GBP/CAD.
The spreads on these pairs can be wider, but if you’re looking to trade long term trends, that may not be as much of a factor for your strategy.
