Trailing Stop

Hey everyone.

I’ve recently been trying to play around with the trailing stop for my trades, but keep getting kicked out of the trade with a smaller number of pips than expected. Starting to wonder if trailing stops should be used when swing trading?

Please help with setting up trailing stops.

It depends on your broker and whether they are using pips or pipettes (1/10th of a pip))
You might think your using a 30 pip trail when your actually using 3.
Check with your broker

Here is my advice on this.

DO NOT use a trail, UNTIL, Your target is consumed. If you approaching your target, move your target to the next area, then set your trail to 3 times your pairs spread.

Think of it as a Mobile stop AFTER your targets are hit, then the rest is bonus pips.
