VSA doesn’t apply directly to spot forex trading (arguably): spot forex has no directly available volume information because there’s no centralised exchange. There are, however, some “ways round that”, but there are also different views on how VSA applies, even so …
Anyway, this isn’t a bad starting-point (though nobody could call it more than that) - as an overview, it’s greatly simplified but contains no misinformation that I’m aware of.
There’s also a great deal of approachable information (some of it quite helpful) about the subject in some [U][I]futures[/I][/U]-trading forums.
One cautionary note: a lot of what one might call “Wykoffesque information” - in some trading forums - is grotesquely out of date and somewhat academic, in these days of the availability of constant-volume bars for forex futures trading.
Why the interest in this subject, may I ask?
