Default broker profits

So forex brokers make their money on the spread when you place a trade right? So lets say you make money trading forex, that money that you made is paid from where? From money the broker has or money from losses from other traders using that broker you are using? Where does that money come from to pay your winnings? Will a broker lose money if a trader keeps making money? In other words does a broker have an incentive to ban successful traders or it doesn't matter to the broker if you are making money because the broker will make money anyway?
