New Forum Feature - Similar Threads

Greetings everyone,

Before the holiday starts for many of you in the U.S. and abroad that celebrate, I wanted to make you aware of a new feature in the Forums. It’s called [B]Similar Threads[/B] and it can be found at the bottom of any thread (including this thread) created since the feature was released (ealier this week). So when you’re reading an interesting thread, have a look at the bottom of that thread to see what else is recommended. Enjoy!

I suppose that’s good, cross promotion and all …but beware the resurrection of many dead threads…lol…not everyone checks the date of the last post before continuing the thread as if it was current.

Great point, Sweet Pip. We’re seeing some of this already. So some quick tips for everybody:

  1. Check the date on the original post
  2. Check the date on the most recent posts
  3. Is the original poster still involved in the thread?

Some posts were started weeks, months and even years ago, and still relevant, while other older posts may not be so relevant, or the original poster is no longer around.
