I hadn't had any problems with FXCM until yesterday. The trading platform froze on the advanced order window. Not thinking much of it I went in long several lots of EUR-USD the order went immediately to waiting when I wanted a market. Apparently the order went in as a limit which I tried to cancel. The option to cancel this order was not given until it got close to the entry price. I canceled the order and went in market again and all was happy except I was 11 pips above what my ideal entry was. The trade was still profitable and I'm actually still in with a couple of lots.
