"common error" shown when I try to open a position on Meta trader 4

I use the Collective FX LLC broker if that has anything to do with it. I tried logging out and in, and restarting my computer, but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?

Well if you restarted the software, and your PC and still does not function, this only means 2 things actually

1. Make sure that the currency trading house is still open, just check the forex trading house hours, on fridays they usually all close after 12pm some later.

2. But if its not only on Fridays that you get this error, than I would highly recommend you to contact your trading house the problem is in the system not your PC, or account.
This kind of error such as "common error" usually comes from software servers.
