Question Metatrader 4 help
Alright. This is my first post, and boy do I feel like a big dummy.

I've been doing the demo account through Oanda for a few weeks now, but I'd really like to start using MT. When I install it, I get only a few quotes for currency pairs that I don't use on the navigator screen, (I want EURUSD, GBPUSD, and USDCHF) and the windows that come up all say 'WAITING FOR UPDATE'. Needless to say, the update never comes.

I've scoured the internet, and it looks like this is a connectivity/ server issue. I am running McAfee firewall, and I've tried downloading and installing with the firewall disabled to no avail.

Has anybody else had this problem? How can I fix it and get the quotes I want on there? Everyone here seems pretty kind, and I know I'm an easy target with these questions, but I'd really like some help!

Default broker...
If you have just downloaded MT4 from the metatrader website, then thats why you are not getting the quotes/currency pairs, you must download MT4 from a broker website. I hope this works.

This is another metatrader 4 broker you can look at STIFX - forex trading, forex trading education, forex brokerage, forex mini account, online forex trading, managed forex trading, best forex broker the one i am trading live with.
It has many currency pairs, as well gold, silver, oil.

And there are many other mt4 brokers. Though with whom i am trading live with, i can only comment on them at the moment. so far good and happy with them.

If you need any MT4 assistance, just ask. James, or myself or anyexpert will be happy to guide you through.

Default unable to attach indicator to chart
Hi,
I use Metatrader for 3 weeks but I have problem now with attaching an indicator.
I have put the indicator in the default indicator folder and I can see the indicator among the custom indicators.
The problem is that its color is grey instead of black and I am unable to attach it to the chart.
Does anybody know how could I attach this indicator?

You can't metatrader is timed from the server of the broker
who's feed you have taken.

oh thanks. Do you know of any broker whose time is GMT + 1?
