Default VT Trader Help please

I have been using this demo for some time now and decided to open a new demo using the correct amount I intend to use when and if I go live.

I then built a second computer to sit beside my laptop for this new account.

I opened up both vt's and set everything the same and noticed that the pip count does not match from one to the other.

EUR/USA is 3 pips off from one to the other and GBP/USA is 4 pips off from one demo account to the other. I have not checked all the others because I do not trade them...GBP/JPY is the same as is others but these 2 are not

If these demo accounts use the same server, same software and are setup the same then EVERYTHING "should" be the same..correct??

If you are using VTtrader I would appreciate some feedback here...customer service blows it off saying the demo is not as accurate as the live
and seems not bothered by the pip difference

Hey Codybear,

Did you call their customer service or did you e-mail? Did you talk to anyone or did you reach your customer service rep? When you signed up, did CMSFX assign an CSR to you? If they did, why don't you try to get it resolved through them. My past experience with my CSR there has been great when I needed something. Even with demos. The CSR wants you as a customer. They want you when you make the millions of $ that I'm sure you are shooting for. So, they want to keep you happy now so you think of them when you break the bank.

Thanks pimpinpips

do you use them as well? or did you?

I spoke with my rep finally and he explained that they have multiple servers for the demo accounts which would explain it.....says live does not have this problem

as for the million $'s heck I'm happy with the couple hundred a day I average in demo so far....the learning curve is simply huge and I've not been in school for 35 yrs but I must say it is exciting even with the headaches.

Thanks

T

I used it at first when I was trying to learn with the charts. But, I found that I prefer to use Metatrader 4 for my charts. VT is great for learning. It's simple and pretty straight forward. However, once you get a little more seasoned, check out MT4.
