You do not have to log into your VPS. The EA will continue to function as long as you do not close the MT4 or switch off the EA in your VPS.

You can log into your VPS as and when just to check...

My thoughts are that these robots cannot be judged within days or weeks. We got to look at the consistency of the trades over months to judge whether this EA is profitable or not.
