#11 Shut Down

Well another shut down. I happen to notice tomorrow is NFP and this is about the only news event I do not wish to be part of. Anyway seems I have not been able to stick around lately. I also don't like the price action in the 4h chart suggesting to me a push up might occur... So being a discretionary trader I thought it was time to get out.

Well I think I'll call it a week. Not a very productive week as the choppy action has not been very good for trading imo. We thus far are not doing to bad. Things that have helped

1. multiple charts
2. stops

Positive R=5.16
Negative R=2

Pppglowacki, I did not see that set up last night. I have been playing USD/JPY since last night. I wont post the charts and all because it is not from the cowabunga template. I use volatility bands for that guy. Anyway you can post anything you'd like here.

Best Trading!!

Weekly:

Well the weekly chart is showing a nice recovery. I see the ema’s are about to cross from bear to bull. RSI >50 and STO’s turning up. ASI is also confirming a price breakout So weekly chart is looking bullish.

Daily:

Two levels of resistance were taken out with pure bull action. The possible triple bottom I mentioned in the Cowabunga thread has triggered. I have a pattern price target around 2.0480. Now having said that notice price did come off its highs. I personally would like to see a pullback before moving higher. So daily chart is bullish. STO indicates overbot conditions..

I shall be backing off on posting here and will only post longer-term analysis on forex pairs I’m looking at. My outlook will be from a longer time frame and so this helps in getting a market bias for trading direction.

USD/CAD Daily:

Looking to see if usdcad can break current resistance. Chart is trying to get bullish. RSI>50, STO's heading up. I would tgt up around 1.0121 near term. Needs a stronger move here!!

Having conducted study on usdcad's weekly I see the possibility of a double bottom in place. Now price would need to clear last weekly high for it to be real. Anyway it does seem to have found support.

I guess it is looking good over daily resistance for a possible play.
