Trading with indicators is like driving a car blindfolded while your passenger tells you what to do. Sure it might easier to just do exactly what your told instead of making your own judgments, and sure it may actually work occasionally. But when it comes right down to it, the indicators just distract you from what's really going on, price action. Indicators are basically just a lagging, less accurate representation of price action. People are attracted to the idea of indicators because they want an easy, black and white system where they are't required to think. The problem is, the market doesn't work this way. You must be adaptable and an indicator based system does not offer this adaptability. The only time you should use an indicator is when your brain sends an indication to your hand to click your mouse button when price action signals a good trade.
