Here are the trades, the last picture was about a "gap" caused by an interruption of the quote's streaming from my provider.

Well, some time I had not posting here. This post is only for my trading journal. I'm looking for the "holy grial" of swingcalping. I found a better way to catch entries when I have time and when I don't.

I use the same swingcalping technique with lot sizing, and about a max loss of 20 pips per trade.

But what I found is that I can use M15 timeframe with custom candles of D1 for when I have no time to trade, this way I only need to look twice a day, and when I have time to trade I can use M1 with custom candles of H1.

I zoom out the chart almost to smallest possible size to see crearly the swings inside the custom candles. Then I look for two setups:

if the last swing is ocurring at the end of the custom candle, then I wait for the bottom of that swing, and plot the fibonacci, place a pendent order on 50% or 61.8% with stop loss of 20 pips more or less (some times in the M15/D1 chart I place the stop a little above the 100% retracement, adjusting the lot size for a max risk of 0.25%, until I feel good about my trading that's the more I'm willing to risk on each trade), and the take profit on between the 127% and 161.8% extensions, about at 145%, because I found that level is reached almost always.

Today I made some trades based on various technical analisys tools, like my swingcalping method with Elliot waves and fibonacci retracements. I tried to identify the 1-5,ABC waves to know where is the swing I'm looking for. The result was good, I identified that the swing I was looking was on the ABC part of the elliot waves, so I placed a reverse trade to get profits from the retracement to 61.8% that formed a new swing. The result was good, with a profit of almost 20 pips.

So I'm going to try to repeat this process, looking for elliot waves before using a swing, to try to know if the next move will be on one or other direction.

I'm starting with swingcalping using harmonic trading. My goal is to have a almost automatic system that trades swingcalping helped by elliot waves and harmonic patterns.

This one is the last trade on a demo account, with the "detection" part and the "result" part.

You can see that the risk:reward is pretty good, 5.5:26.4, that's almost 1:5! The trades finished well.

The indicator in the bottom part is an stochastic, that has 3 possible group of curves, the first one (solid one) is the stochastic of the current view timeframe, the 2nd and 3rd are automatically charted when a trade is placed, using the timeframe of the trade, I mean, if I found an harmonic pattern that can be traded using swingcalping at M15, then a stochastic of M15 is drawed on the chart, this only to see the effect that the current stochastic have on my trade.

Wow, this is pretty in depth. Your system looks like it is pretty consistent. How did you develop this?

Is your system available to be tested for everyone?

I don't trade scalping anymore. It is exciting, but requires more time than I have

I trade harmonic patterns and statarb, that leaves me more free time

anyway, scalping is a fun and exciting method of trading I recommend you try it some time.
