I have just moved my stops to break-even and have closed out 70% of the trade (the market flow is bullish still).

Wow that cable trade really took off I won't lament the fact that I didn't catch the full 100+ pip move, I am too excited just knowing that my analysis paid off and that I concluded the week having met all my objectives

Happiness aside, the reality is that I didn't make a losing trade yet, and that is where I personally feel a trader either shows his mettle or folds under the pressure. Let's be honest, it ain't hard making win after win, the real test is picking oneself up after a loss and remaining free from emotional responses to that loss. So I'm glad I have posted this here now, to remind myself of this test once the inevitable losses come around.

Anyway, I'm going to post a myfxbook link to my account to up the ante with regards to remaining accountable and transparent in all of my trades. Please, I urge anyone reading this thread to take a look at my trades and point out any clear contraventions of my risk parameters.

Once we broke through the 100 level of that swing.. 200 Fib swing extension, could have wiped the floor of all the pips that day

I saw that too bro I was in a rush on Friday morning because I was going away for the weekend, so I closed my whole trade at the first TP objective. But nevermind that, the analysis was sound and it just means next time we'll really kill it!

By the way, nice to see another fellow Oanda user Do you live in London? Your time on that screenshot is exactly the same as here in South Africa -- haha, I thought there is a 1 hour difference :?

Alright, started off the week with a winner!!

    Pair: EUR/USD
    Bias: SHORT
    Entry: 1.3269
    Exit: 1.3226
    Result: +43 pips

Bit of a risky one this time, I was hesitant to take a short which would be against the trend, but nevertheless it does seem as though the latest upwards move is due for a retracement (on cable at least).
    Reasons for entry:
    1. Market flow changed to bearish on H1, H4
    2. Pivot Sell zone at R1
    3. Perfect Judas swing up into major resistance level (1.3280)
    4. Type 1 divergence on H1
    5. Reflection pattern OTE from yesterday's low to today's high (see below)

In retrospect, I should've held this one until the ADR low at 1.3210 (we just raided the stops underneath this low), but nevermind, a win is a win!
