    Default sunday trading?

Okay the u.s. starts at 5pm eastern on sunday. Last week I noticed my trades had lost a lot of pips on the weekend when the market was down. so I was thinking of purchasing on sunday and letting it retrace back to normal level, what do you think?

I am new to Babypips but not new to trading. The approach you are taking may need some re-evaluation. If you would like some deeper insight into trading, I suggest you have a look at a new Apple App called FOREX EDU. It is free to download and I have listened to the first 3 free videos already. There is some really solid material here you might want to take a look at.

Best of luck in your trading!

Hey Dave, this isn't a good idea. Although Sunday is a shorter trading day, it is none the less of day of trading. Price can move up or down and hoping for price to retrace back to Friday's close(if I am understanding correctly) is a huge risk. Many traders actually encourage NOT to trade Sundays. I would encourage you to wait until London Open. Hope that helps

I tried this sunday, it was actually a mixture of winners and losers. however I waited till late evening because the spreads at he begining of the trading day where like 20 pips and up. later in the evening the spreads returned to normal.
