Last time i open a thread about a day before the news event. I know now that it is for me not profitable.

Today it was a blackday for me in the forex. I work whit price action signals.
But the moves are not good. After i look at te all te charts i see that evrything is moving in a range (1hour and 4hour). Only oil moves.
Is it because of bankholiday? Whitch days are almost the same else today?
I have a list of the Holidays in USA and Great Brittian. Are the more days to keep in mind?
There is a range because the Non Farm Payrolls are on Friday and the ECB meeting is on Thursday. No one wants to start taking risks to there is a range. It will probably break at point or another.
You can find the markets open even on the major holidays like Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, as well as on the U.S. Thanksgiving. But this doesn’t mean you should trade.
Yes when their is a Holiday then at that time i do not prefer to do my trades because the Liquidity in the markets is very thin and this is the main reason as i do not want ti get much losses in my trades
