100% of my trades are based on technical analysis. Every move can be traced to relating to either Structure, Fibs, or Pivots. You don’t need to understand Fundamental analysis, but if you know when announcements are made, you can anticipate liquidity in the markets. I use Interactive Broker, and I have mixed feelings about them, though overall I would recommend them. The most important thing about a broker in my mind is my ability to get my money back, and I’ve never had an issue withdrawing money. I don’t use MT4, I use Ninja Trader. There is a lot one should understand about data, exchanges, tick data, etc that one should consider before choosing a broker.
There are many forms of technical trading, as all the indicators used by many traders also comes under technical trading so if anyone is using bad indicators and failing, for him technical trading won’t click.
