Problem with stop loss

Thanks for your post, and I have visited it but it’s too long and my English is not well enough to read all it. Can you tell the answer for me or tell me which paragraph I should read to know the answer for my quest?

The entire thread is the answer (seriously). Basically if a SNB upheaval category event occurs, you will not get the stop price you wanted. Understanding the why is more important than just answering the question.

Hi Godzilla,
its a metter of win/Loss % ratio, one of the most importat metric to evaue a strategy.
So read your storic result and evaluate this ratio.
if your win/loss ratio is high yo can take more wide stop loss.
Remember, Stops hurt.

It has been noticed that sometimes long tail candle comes down sharply and take stop. How do you manage such risk ?
