The New Wolf of Wall Street

You’ll never know bro. But, I’ve just updated my thread and I’m always happy to share my live test account

.

No offense taken. No worries. I definitely get it. This is certainly why I have been very up front about this being a demo account. I am not trying to mislead anyone and maybe this whole thread should be in the blog section instead. My strategy is more of a play on market theory, but more on that later.

Only reason I was asking for proof was because billibob had ignored a request I made a few months ago, not because I think demo performance = real account performance. I am happy that he is coming around now to showing proof (as most people portraying a strategy on here should), even if it is only going back a week.

Lol, first of all I like the photo.

Secondly, IF that is true, then GREAT! Good for you! I am not going to doc anyone for great performance. I would just hope that you aren’t risking too much. Typically results like that mean you are risking way too much. Do you have a myfxbook account or a thread that explains your strategy/risk per trade?

I hear yah. I am very much looking forward to going live with this strategy. I am happy I did do the demo account though because it has allowed me to nail down my position sizing.

Given that my strategy is very mechanical in nature, I would hope that the results closely resemble my demo account, but I won’t 100% know that until I get into a real account. I get that.

Good stuff. Thanks for sharing. Happy to see that you are moving in the right direction. I will check out your thread to see what your new methodology is.

youre doing good. you achive good results and usually people dont achive good results in demo simply because they dont take it serious because its “play money”. so if you manage to achive disciplin with “play money” (as you are doing right now) them you will certainly achive disciplin with real money. only thing you need to worry about is psychological nervocity. when youre so carefull with play money then you might be too carefull with real money and opening trades and clisong them will be a hard obstacle to overcome as you mighz close profiting trades too early and let losing trades run forever hoping they will come back to BE and you close at 0 loss.

or you enter the market too late, at the end of the trend, thinking you need more confirmation to be sure of your idea of the direction. or you place your stop losses too tight hoping to not loose too much money.

etc etc. those are jist a frw of a endless count number of differences between demo and life trading.

but you will see what i mean whem you start trading real money. then the psychology is 90% of what you need to handle. the direction of trade or trend is the smallest work you must handle once you go life.

33.6% since may this year. Still trading… 5919 trades logged

Anybody can say if they will change hours of trading during holidays?
