Where to start?

and besides, the best way to learn fx is to study urself.

hey guys i just don’t know how to start

My suggestion is to start out in demos, don’t jump in with your wallet open.

I have done demos for a good 2 month… I am still not confident (or competent!)

Always remember that dealing in Forex is a challenging opportunity where huge returns are achievable to investors who are willing to educate themselves.

1. Read, read, and then read some more. Babypips.com is probably the best resource out there! So you have started at the right place
2. Start practicing on a demo account. Play around with the different indicators. Understand “technical analysis”
3. Borrow someone’s system and make it your own. There are several free systems out there … and they WORK! If that is not your style, create your own system!
4. Learn money management skills. And keep practicing on the demo account. Keep records of all trades placed.
5. Evaluate trade records judiciously at the end of every week/ month.
6. Keep following this “mantra” and you will know when you are ready!

i am also new in this forum and i also want that where from to i start … and its difficult form me to choose

Realize that none of these free systems are going to work. None of the pay services are going to work. No signal service will make you money in the long run. Realize this and you’ll be ahead of 95% of the people here.
You have to do your own thing in this business, you have to find your own edge. With out that your better off going to Harrah’s Casino. The odds are against you.

Most of the people replying are not making money. Find someone profitable and follow them. But never buy anything.

Here is a good start I see. Am new to this forum, too! =)

hi this is leena from nY new on this forum

New to the forum, and new to Forex in general. At Grade 6 at BabyPips school, but no doubt will be sent back to kindergarted. Had my first few dabs on Metatrader 4; 5 losses and 1 gain, but good to experiement with the Stop losses etc. I’ve been thrown off a bit by Alpari’s pippettes, I think I’m setting 20 pip slop loss, it’s really 2, and gets triggered within minutes.
I tried a “free” EA, without checking the lot size, it took out a fair chunk of my demo account. But now I’m just curious about the robots, I’ve gone and purchased Megadroid last week, just to leave running on two demo accounts, although because of spreads, it won’t even trade for me.

I’m trying out a demo account for myself, and I hope to be able to spend 30mins to an hour a night (I’m on GMT). Will be reading up on the Cowabunga system, and HLHB. I also spotted the system that watches the EUR/JPY at 2200 (GMT) when Japan opens trade (ish).

If anyone has any specific recommendations for a 5-10 hours a week, late evening (GMT) trader, please let me know! I should point out that initial deposit will be under 1000 GBP.

Most of us really bothered on how and where to start a forum but actually, we’re just lazy to find a forum that will fit on our ideas and thoughts. Everyones’ newbie wants to be feed all at first time.
