When you start shifting high volume trades you may see some potential issues such as part fills, both positive and negative towards your intended position. I’ve spoken to a few true ECN brokers, and they say that shifting 50 lots in higher volume periods such as during the London and New York session is usually common by many of their high end clients, but anything above 50 lots and you can start to see diminishing returns sneak in.
