I’d like to start by asking if I am in the good forum section. I looked for the most appropriate space to post this topic and I think that this is the good one. I have alot of respect for community, therfor I don’t want to go against the rules by posting here. Second, my first language is french, I have good english base but sometime you might find my post hard to understand. Don’t be afraid to let me know.
Presentation
My name is Michaël from Montreal, QC, CA. I am 21 years old, married and studying in software engineer. I am the type of guy that always have projects going on and I like to invest my soul into them. A few months ago I heard about forex. I spent couple of hours reading about it and found that it was very interresting but I had other things going on and I decided not to invest myself into it. My tuition fees are getting hard to pay and I am trying to find a way to increase my income.
I know some of you will say “Hey young boy, stop there, don’t put money on forex that you can’t afford to lose!”. I’ll tell you something, you are damn right! After finishing the first part of babypips.com I realized how hard making money with forex is and how much time you need to master a system. This topic will be, for the first couple of months, only about a DEMOaccount. I see the FX market as a long term project that will help me establish a good financial situation. No point throwing away my money with a non-existent system. Also, I don’t think taking someone else system would be satisfying for me.
1- I wouldn’t learn anything
2- Most “system” are, as most of you know, scams “ZOMG MAKE A GAZILLION IN 1 WEEK WITH A ROBOT ZOMG”.
I have literaly no knowledge about forex. I am planning to keep track of what I read/learn here and track my success… and failure with a demo account.
If you have any good books/websites that is a must-read let me know. I am at the very beginning of a long journey and I am comitting myself into it.
