2nd post and Can someone tell me what the numbers mean are in forex?

Hello!
Well has it says in the title! When i read prices or whatever in forex market what does the number mean? ie 12.540 example i may have this wrong!, I know the 3rd number from the decimal point is a pip? but what are the other numbers?.

Also! Can you recommend a good trading platform?
Ive been reading up on Plus500 and also Trading 212 and Xforex - which i signed up! but i think it is a scam! So i did not put no money on!, Been researching this company too and it seems many people use it and some say its a scam, So can anyone recommend a good trading platform with a demo account too!!

Hope you guys can help!!
Im really new to this and never traded before!. And researching trading in general to give me the best chance of making some money!

Is it possible to make money all the time so you dont have to do a day job? nothing wrong with working a day job! but if you can trade and be your own boss! no reason you cannot look into this!

I’d suggest going through the baby pips school for the basics and demo trade for a while. Learn price action as it is the most profitable and easy way to trade.

Oanda and fxcm are good brokers.

You are looking at a price quote or exchange rates between two currencies. Price quotes are shown according to their currencies. Your question proved that you are a total newbie to the financial world let alone forex. Please start from the very beginning and you will understand why no one bothered to give you a direct answer. I don’t know what broker to recommended to you, I am currently trading with a broker called Profiforex and it’s been satisfactory.

Please dont open an account yet.
Apart from the yen, a pip us the 4th figure after the decimal point.
Go to Pipschool, you really need to study before you trade

Hello!

I will study the tutorials in the pip school!!

I will check out those brokers for future reference Joesfx150 ! Thank you!

Thanks guys!
