I’m new to FOREX. Been practicing on a demo account on Oanda. Was watching EURUSD and my trailing stop loss was triggered during a 30 pip drop that immediately recovered. First time experiencing this. Is this a normal occurrence? I only saw one mention on twitter under EURUSD about it.
Looking at the other charts I see the same move to the USD from other major currencies at the same time. GBP/USD, USD/CHF, and AUD/USD.

Ah, didn’t even think about holidays. I haven’t been tracking volume yet too, I’ll start doing that today. Thanks for the tip.

someone hit your stoploss purposely and go : absolutely normal phenomenon
this is why its so hard
