I’ve found three patterns, whether they are good or not is the question
I don’t intend to trade any of them because I have no idea where to put stops and limits so i’m just gonna wait an see what happens.

AS far I as know, when you have really long wicks, or news candles, you can draw your fibs from the actual body of the candle., but honestly I have never used this way of spoting fibs, so that’s all I can tell about it.

Thanks the most logical way is to always draw at the extremes from the wicks so i think i do that.

Hi everybody,

Here’s a bullish gartley on the Eur/jpy 1hr chart.

D at 131.46. It also looks like it’s the C leg on an ABC correction from a previous 12345 Elliot wave, wich indicates as a potential resume of the uptrend.

We have two possible Ds. the first one already there, at 131.80, also with multiple convergences, and wich could be a good one.

I chose the second one, the one you can see on my chart, because it’s also a point where the 200 ema finds its place as support. EMA 200 turns out to be a magnet. But again, this is only my criteria. First D has also great potential.

70 pips from D point to 23,6% AD

Let’s see what happens.

Not too keen on short dollar patterns, but I’m watching this H4 cable today. Probably wont get there, and there is a daily pattern with D well below, so as always take care.

Please let me know if you think the pattern is invalid for any reason.

And if anyone finds any long dollar patterns out there I’d love to see them.

Hi guys,

This got very close, but unfortunately not close enough for my 53 bid. Dumb of me to work a bid so close to D on this timeframe, I should at least have scaled in and have a partial positon.

Price has not retraced .23 of AD, so I guess the pattern is still in play, but the way price reacted around D the horse may have already bolted…damn.

May try to get set on a 5 min retracement method.

Hi Taylor, this is my main style of trading, and I’m doing really good, honestly I haven’t achieved TmoneyBags returns, but I’m doing pretty well.

Not a bad week +200 pips, but I probably should have done better as I took nothing from the cable or aj 4hrs.

+65 this week, so off to a reasonable start.

I didn’t take the ej’s because I stopped trading on Thursday. I generally don’t trade fridays if I’m already satisfied with the week.

I do use one other entry setup, but the majority of my trades are based on gartley’s, butterfly’s or three drive patterns.

Hey i just noticed were both from NSW, im from Central Coast, just up north,
have u had a look at “Learn to trade” that company that advertises on the radio? i had a look last week, but it seemed a bit overpriced seeing as how there is so much info on babypips,

im also waiting for Larry Pesavento’s “Trade what you see” from Amazon.com, as Tmoneybags reccomended at the start of this thread,

I don’t know anything about “learn to trade” but I’d be wary of people advertising on the radio, telling you how easy it is to make money trading forex.
