Hi all, I am a newby to Babypips.
I use a breakout /swing strategy against dailycharts. I currently use IBFX however their dailycharts end at 00:00 GMT (which is 1am for me - bit late to stay up considering I have work the next day)
Is anyone aware of any brokers who close daily charts at 5:00 EST this would meantime I could look for my trades and hit the sack by 11:30pm.

I don’t know anything about IBFX, but I know time-zones pretty well, and you have me confused. Are you in the Eastern U.S.? If so, then your time zone is EDT (not EST), and the correct GMT offset is GMT - 4 hours. So, 00:00 GMT (which is midnight GMT) is 8pm EDT, not 1am as you stated.
As for other broker platforms, I believe MB Trading closes the “day” at 5pm or 6pm eastern time, and actually take their servers off-line for a few minutes at that time. But, I don’t know what they offer in the way of charts.
Why do you want a new daily bar or candle to begin at a particular time?

I actually live in the UK and trade daily charts therefore looking for a broker who closes their charts at 5 or 6pm EST which would be 10/11pm GMT - this would enable me toview completed day charts and plug in my trade.
Will check out MB Trading though.
