I’ve heard so many great things about Forex and every time I listen to someone talk about stocks and forex I feel like a “Deer in Headlights”. My plan is to start here and use all the other tools i was given to figure this thing out.

Learn a bit, demo a lot. Learn a bit more, demo a lot. Learn a little bit more, demo a lot.
Every time something fails in a demo account you are learning so make sure its a serious exercise and you understand why this worked and that didn’t. Note especially what happened to price after you closed the trade or were stopped out.
Yes, that is a great plan. This platform provides free forex learning courses that you can take and use them to your benefit.
Practice is certainly at least as important if not more than the learning you will do in the course. Demo trading means there is no risk to you. When you get frustrated at losing, just remember that if you can learn something about that loss then it isn’t for nothing and is simply a lesson.
It’s good for a trader to be ready to try out different things in the forex market. But at some point in time, you will have to settle for a strategy or a trading plan that fits your trading requirements completely and helps you make good returns in the market.
