Wednesday is the ADP non farm employment report.
Friday is the NFP report.
What is the difference? Why is Friday the big one but ADP not so much?
My guess - ADP is a payroll company reporting real numbers of payroll they have processed, and NFP is a government generated number that has more FED and political influence - these markets are so central bank driven now it is crazy.
ADP is from some agency, while NFP is government estimate which is used by governemnt and FED in their calculations, policy etc. That’s why it has more impact on markets.
