Ctrader is the best imo
First of all, it’s always welcoming to start trading with a demo account which many traders don’t do. Secondly, for trading forex, no level of education is necessary but trading-friendly maturity needs to be developed.

Spot on! Demo accounts are a great way to improve our trading skills without any risk. Personally, I love using MT4. Definitely worth trying!
I am baffled why the utility of the metatrader platforms is debated. Metatrader may not possess the advanced charting tools other platforms may boast, but it is by far the most efficient and user-friendly option among the rest. I have used TV but I keep going back to my good old MT4 platform. Again, it is not the tools of the platform that make you profitable. Having the basic tools is just more than enough if you know what you are looking for to support your trade decision. The advanced features are just extras. One then has to consider how traders of old succeeded in trading given the lack of advanced charting platforms of today.

Find an interface that is easy for you to use and comfortable for your trading setups/ strategies.
For me, I feel like MT4/5 is too blocky/ too formal and those (IMHO) are not intuitive to the trader (especially ease of use and quick trade interface). I feel that cTrader (or any of its variants) is easier to use and more intuitive to the trading experience.
